The specialty items/lines that The Plumbing Place carries that no one else in the area carries include: Toto & Icera Ceramics; Ammara, Zuchetti, Watermark, Jorger, Franz Viegener & Crosswater Faucet lines; Vanico Marinyx, Furniture Guild, Keuco, Topex & Decotec Furniture lines; and Bravura, Edgar Berebi, Glasscrafters, Sidler, Kartners, Cool Lines, The Outdoor Shower Company, Electric Mirror & Smedbo Accessory and Cabinet Hardware lines.

Q. How many people do you employ?
A. The Plumbing Place employs 16 people.

Q. How long has the company been in business?

A. Our company has been in business for 30 years.

Q. How many manufactures do you represent?
A. We represent 312 different manufacturers

Q. What product is your personal favorite?
A. Our favorite product is The Galley - a revolutionary product which converts a normal kitchen or outdoor kitchen sink to a super-functional, stylish workstation where you can prepare, serve, entertain, and clean-up all in one convenient place.

Q. What finishes, textures and looks are trending in the Sarasota area?
A. A strong trend in the Sarasota area is a movement toward a more contemporary style. That trend manifests in new shapes, such as rectangular sinks and geometric faucets with clean, simple lines. This trend also has seen a movement back to polished chrome as the preferred finish for transitional or contemporary plumbing fixtures. Quality door hardware was very difficult to find in this area before we created Smitty's Architectural Hardware, a showroom within a showroom located inside The Plumbing Place. There one can choose economically priced door hardware for the home, better than what was traditionally offered in the big box stores, and also very high quality hardware made from Bronze or Stainless Steel, which can weather our demanding outdoor climate and look/perform perfectly for years.

Q. Are there publications where The Plumbing Place has been featured?
A. The latest publication we were featured in was Home & Design Magazine

Q. Any other comments or information that you would like to add?
A. Our sales/design team at The Plumbing Place has extensive experience in creating the best bathrooms and kitchens in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. Service is truly our passion, and that has made us the top choice of plumbing showrooms for over 30 years. Our showroom is a constantly evolving gallery of the best products available worldwide, and our best kept secret - a 12,000 square foot warehouse located on the second floor above the showroom stocks a very wide range of products available for customers who need material immediately. In fact, we are the sole distributor of Toto toilets and sinks in the Tampa Bay area and keep over 1,000 pieces in stock every day.
